What Umeclidinium and vilanterol is used for

Do not take / not appropriate for
- Do not use ANORO ELLIPTA if you have a severe allergy to milk proteins. The inhalation powder is carried on lactose, and anaphylactic reactions have been reported in people with severe milk-protein allergy after inhaling other lactose-containing powder medicines. (all countries) (2)
- Do not use ANORO ELLIPTA if you have shown hypersensitivity to umeclidinium, to vilanterol, or to any other ingredient in the inhaler. (all countries) (2)

- Every other medicine you take, especially strong CYP3A4 inhibitors such as ketoconazole.

- General Instructions: Inhale one dose (1 actuation) once daily at the same time each day, using the Ellipta inhaler device as demonstrated by your prescriber or pharmacist.
